Sir Sandford Fleming Park, otherwise known as the Dingle for the iconic tower in the middle of the park. The 95-acre park features walking trails, ponds, a beach and playground. The park was donated to the city of Halifax in 1908 by Sir Sanford Fleming, the creator of standard time zones.
It is a special space for Kate and I as took her on a picnic and asked her to marry me there many years ago. Lucky for me, she said 'yes'. We have taken many wedding and family photos in this beautiful park over the last two decades.
