Monique and Jason had their wedding at the beautiful Queen Ann Inn located in Annapolis Royal. This Victorian mansion was built in 1865 - before Canada was a country. The grounds are well cared for and make a great setting for a wedding ceremony.
We took some time to sneak away from the wedding reception at dusk for some dramatic shots. We headed down the road to the Fort Anne National Historic Site. Here, I headed toward the water and asked Monique and Jason to take the high ground on top of a large rock. Kate positioned a powerful flash facing the couple. Because of the light from the flash, I was able to underexpose the rest of the scene. Monique and Jason really stand out against the rocks, trees and sky.
